PLAN YOUR ESCAPE…
ON A RELAXED ROMANTIC WEEKEND OR FUN-PACKED FAMILY HOLIDAY IN KENT’S MOST VIBRANT AND BEST-LOVED SEASIDE TOWN

“The Jolly is the best little house we have ever stayed in! Such attention to detail, with special touches, like the toiletries, the yellow roses in each room and living area, the wine, the milk with tea and coffee so that you can have a nice cup of tea on arrival. It was also lovely to read about the history of The Jolly, such an interesting area it is in! Such wonderful hosts.” Julie, 2022

Jolly tidings from deepest Kent!
Jolly tidings from deepest Kent where we might not be on your Christmas card list this year, what with blocked borders and homegrown virus mutations. But despite all the gloom we’re trying to stay chipper by cosying up with the telly box - lockdown has guilt-free...
Somebody needs to sing a Christmas carol…
Son of a nutcracker! I’m not an angry elf but smiling isn’t my favourite right now…anyone else feeling the pressure as we hurtle towards this year’s final countdown? Call me a cotton-headed ninny muggins but my usual get-up-and-go has done one, and this fuzzy mind fog...
TED Talk: Adventures with a Romanian rescue dog
It won’t have escaped your notice that Team Jolly recently recruited a third member. Our wiry-haired colleague, known variously as Teddy, Tedstar, The Tedmeister and Mr Ted E Bear, relocated from rural Romania in October having successfully applied for a post as Dog...
I recently visited The Jolly with my in-laws, husband and small dog. This is the second time that my husband and I have visited Whitstable and we were ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with this accommodation. The LOCATION is great, a short walk to the beach and also into town. We didn’t use the car once while we were there! The Jolly is EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN and Annabel and Ian provide a number of extra touches which make your stay SUPER COMFORTABLE. This accommodation would score 10 OUT OF 10 in every single area for us. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone, it really is FANTASTIC and fabulous VALUE FOR MONEY.
We had a great stay at The Jolly. The house was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, the owners had thought of everything with lots of EXTRA LITTLE TOUCHES, there was nothing we found ourselves wishing was there! There was even pretty vases of FRESH FLOWERS in each room! The property is an EASY WALK to Whitstable seafront and the main high street and benefitted from being in a QUIET cul de sac. We would definitely stay here again if we visit this area again. COMMUNICATION with the owners was spot on too.
